It’s not about me. It’s about us.

We are all in this together. Let’s make this the best year PCC has ever seen!

Thanks so much for visiting my website! I wanted to create a page where I can share with you a little about myself and why I think you should vote for me for PCC’s President of Associated Student Government.

I’m a single father of a beautiful little 7-year-old. She’s my life! You may have seen us on social media. I am known as The Hair Dad. A few years ago I had a story go viral about how I learned from a cosmo student how to do cool styles for my daughter. Since then I’ve done what I can to be a Fatherhood Influencer and help other dads. I make tutorials for Facebook and YouTube (Over 100 million views), and I teach free classes here in Pueblo to help the local dads and daughters.

How does this have anything to do with being the President of ASG?

Again, it’s not about me.

I’m not in this for the glory. I don’t seek fame or attention from this position. I’ve had that. I truly want to help and be of service. I want to be the voice for you!

What qualifies me?

Leadership Experience

I have years of leadership experience behind me. Starting with the Navy, I became a Non-Commissioned Petty Officer when I was promoted to EW-4. I ran a small crew and we are still friends to this day. I’ve had several management positions which prepared me to be the business owner I am today. I have managed crews that covered the state of Colorado.

Creative Problem Solver

When confronted with the problem of not knowing how to do my daughter’s hair, I did what I needed to do. I asked for help. I am not afraid to let people know I need help. It’s okay to not be able to do everything all the time. As President, I will be asking for the help of the people that are elected to the other various ASG positions. And I will be asking for your help. I can’t do this alone. So a vote for me is a vote for you. I will do what I can to be the best representative of the student body that I can for you.

I am a highly motivated, passionate person. I put 100% into everything I do. If not, why do it? This is how I became The Hair Dad. I found an area of parenting I lacked, and I turned that into what I am known for. I do that with school assignments, with volunteer work, with my work study at the SBDC, and with parenting in general. Going above and beyond is who I am. This kind of determination is what landed me on The Rachel Ray Show!

Event Planning

I have had many instances in my life where I’ve planned parties and events. Part of the job of the President of ASG is planning the events PCC hosts. Movie night, Spring Fling, Wingo, etc. I know how to keep people entertained! (I’ve done some stand-up comedy in my life too!)

 Public Speaking

I have a tremendous amount of experience with public speaking. My most recent endeavor is speaking in front of groups of dads as I teach hair classes. With the amount of attention I’ve been shown, I’ve learned to make sure that when it’s time to speak, make sure what is said has meaning. A motto I live by is “Have the bravery to speak up and have the wisdom to be heard.” I speak up when needed, and say the things that people need to hear.

Thank you again for checking out my page. Feel free to take a look at the rest of my website, you might like what I have to show!
